Jenner Class Blue Reef trip, Hastings

July 20th, 2017

On Wednesday 19th July, Jenner class went on a trip to the Blue Reef aquarium in Hastings. The children had a lot of fun seeing different species of sea life and especially enjoyed watching the stingrays being fed. Walking through a glass tunnel with sharks swimming overhead was unnerving but the children did not seem phased at all.

We then had to contend with a flock of mischievous seagulls who were trying to steal our picnics!

Enjoy the photos.

King John reigned from 1199-1216. He was the most evilest king, he was the brother of king Ritchard who rieigned from 1189-1199. King Henry III reigned from 1216-1272 and fought lots of wars, making England a miserable place.

King Harold II died at the battle of Hastings 1066. He was only king for a short time after…

King Edward the Confessor died in 1066. I think king Harold II was buried under the rocks near Hastings but somebody dug him up and moved him.

School Choir Peforms At BBC Radio Kent

December 2nd, 2016

This is our Yr3 to Yr5 choir members standing

by the tree they decorated for the BBC.

You can listen to the clips here (1:58)

Our choir really enjoyed this visit and we were pleased(despite the early start)to be the first school choir to peform this season. The picture above is of us standing beside the Christmas tree which we decorated.

We also met to lovely presenters, Maggie and John and they even joined in when we sung Frosty the snowman!

It was a fantastic experience and we hope to do it again.
